Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and opencrmapps ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of:

• The opencrmapps website and community platform at https://opencrmapp.com/vtigermobile/
• The QuickCRM mobile application for Vtiger CRM
• Any related documentation, APIs, or services we provide

By accessing or using any of these services, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of services

opencrmapps provides:

• QuickCRM: A native iOS and Android mobile application that connects to your self-hosted Vtiger CRM server via the Vtiger Webservices REST API.
• Community platform: An online forum where users can share knowledge, ask questions, and collaborate around open-source CRM mobile development.
• Documentation & knowledge base: Technical guides for integrating and configuring mobile CRM applications.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service (or part thereof) at any time with reasonable notice.

3. User accounts

To access community features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately at security@opencrmapps.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Not share your account credentials with any third party.
• Not create more than one account per person.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or violates the rights of others.
• Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account.
• Scrape, index, or systematically download content without our prior written permission.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam).
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account that violates these rules, at our sole discretion.

5. Your CRM data & self-hosting

As a self-hosted solution:

• You own and control your CRM data at all times.
• You are responsible for your Vtiger server's security, updates, and compliance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).
• We are not liable for any data loss, breach, or corruption occurring on your server.
• Offline data cached locally on your device is your responsibility to protect via device-level security (PIN, biometrics, encryption).

6. Intellectual property

The opencrmapps website design, logo, trademarks, and original written content are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission.

The QuickCRM application code is subject to its own license terms available in the product documentation. Open-source components are governed by their respective licenses.

Vtiger, SuiteCRM, and Odoo are trademarks of their respective owners. opencrmapps is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vtiger Inc., SuiteCRM Ltd., or Odoo S.A.

7. Community content

By posting content on the community platform, you grant opencrmapps a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You retain ownership of your content. You represent that you have the right to post the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the community.

8. Disclaimers & warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
• Any warranty that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses.
• Any warranty regarding the accuracy or reliability of documentation or community content.

You use the services at your own risk. Always test configurations in a non-production environment before deploying to production.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OPENCRMAPPS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
• Damage to your CRM data, server, or systems.
• Costs of substitute services.

In any case, our total cumulative liability to you for all claims shall not exceed €100 (one hundred euros) or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless opencrmapps and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit to the platform.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include violation of these Terms, abusive behavior, or extended inactivity (12+ months).

Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 of these Terms survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice via the community platform or email. Your continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
