Vtiger CRM working with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace accounts

Hello to all the members of the community.

I'm worried because I don't see any plan to solve the OAuth authentication problem that for more than 1 year and a half has been preventing us from sending emails with VTiger from our Office or Workspace accounts?

It was said that it would be in version 8.0.0, but it was not. Now in 8.1.0 it is not either.

Please follow the below steps to work Gmail

Go to Settings> Configuration > Outgoing server > Select the following
Server type = (Say, Gmail)
Server name= ssl://smtp.gmail.com:465
username= Your Gmail id
To get the password, please follow the below steps:
-Go to your Google account
-Navigate to security
-Go to 2-step verification (it is mandatory)
-scroll to the bottom of the screen
-You will find the App password. Copy it.
Enter your from Email address
Click on the checkbox for “Requires Authentication”
Click on Save


For Outlook use your account password
