I discovered a bug in vTiger version 8.3. When trying to edit a report, instead of saving under the same name, vTiger creates a copy of the report. I think this is a problem with typos in the files. In several files, there is 'seleted_fields' instead of 'selected_fields'. I corrected the typos in the files, but it didn't solve my problem. Problem solved. It turned out that the variable isDuplicate was mismanaged. Initially, it operated on true/false values, and then switched to 0/1. Furthermore, checking this variable in the subsequent steps of the edit process did not work correctly, and the value of this variable was lost along the way.
